It is an immense pleasure to share this news that our Research Scholar – Ms. Manpreet Kaur working under the Prime Minister Research Fellowship (an initiative of FICCI and SERB) with our company on the topic “Biochemical Characterization of Euryhaline Microalgal Strina for Bioactive Metabolites” under the guidance of Dr Surekha Bhatia, Senior Biochemist, department of processing & food engineering has been awarded the “Best Research Scholar Award- 2021 in Plant Biochemistry” at 3rd International Conference Global Initiative in Agriculture, Forestry and Life Science (GIAFAS-2021) by Dr US Ravat, Vice-Chancellor, SGRRU and Dr. A P Garg.
She has been invited as a Short Term Scholar in the lab of Dr. Eric A. Decker, Head, Department of Food Science, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA for six months to work on the stability of food lipids.
