On 14th October,2011, Team FENFURO organized Diabetes Awareness Camp and Free Blood Sugar check-up for the awareness about diabetes in association with Raffels Hospital, Panchkula. A presentation on Diabetes was made, question answers session organized and pamphlets on diabetes awareness were distributed.

TEAM FENFURO Organized a Diabetes Awareness Camps on WORLD DIABETES DAY on 14th November, 2011 at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan, Sector 16 A, Chandigarh & Paras Down Town Square Mall, Zirakpur in association with ‘Hindustan Times’.Presentation was given by leading Diabetologist to promote awareness about Diabetes, Books and pamphlets on Diabetes management were distributed and free blood sugar camp was also organized. More than 200 patients were benefited with these camps.

FENFURO co-sponsored a glittering function ZEE PUNJABI ANHAD SANMAN’ 2011 held at Hotel JW Marriot, Chandigarh on 4th November’ 2011. Zee Punjabi Anhad Sanman was the first of its own kind for Punjabi media world. Zee Punjabi Anhad Sanman is instituted in order to honour the Punjabi Martyrs and Real Heros who have rendered commendable services for the nation. This programme was well attended by dignitaries like Mrs.Ambika Soni (Member of Indian National Congress & Minister of Information & Broad Casting ), Capt. Amrinder Singh (Former Chief Minister of Punjab), Sardar Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa (Member of Parliament-Rajya Sabha), Flying Sikh Milkha Singh, Punjabi Singer Gurdas Maan and many more.

Team FENFURO participated in Times Health and Beauty Show event held on 25th to 27th November,2011 at The World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. This event was organized by Times of India .The main objective of the event is to improve the quality of life.

Team FENFURO participated in the World Diabetes Congress, Dubai, on 4-8 December 2011. It was a global meeting, more than 15000 delegates represented, more than 200 member associations that compose the International Diabetes Federation. It brings international perspectives on diabetes policy, practice and scientific research to the Gulf region. It was organized by ‘The International Diabetes Federation’ associated with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations, The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan America Health Organization (PAHO). The International Diabetes Federation aims to consolidate the direction of previous congresses and push boundaries to enhance the lives of people with diabetes. The Programme Committee created a wide-ranged programme covering all aspects of the diabetes field. The five programme streams for the congress were: Clinical and Basic Science, Education and Integrated Care, Global Challenges in Health, Health Systems and Epidemiology, and Life.

FENFURO sponsored 19th Blood Donation camp organized by Uttrakhand Yuva Manch on 08th April, 2012 at Garhwal Bhawan , sector-29-A, Chandigarh for Blood Bank, PGIMER- Chandigarh towards social development. More than 100 donors donated their valuable blood and free leaflets/pamphlets were distributed for Diabetes Awareness.
